LEAD RESPONSE SYSTEMS FOR ROOFING COMPANIES

How many of last month's leads never got a phone call?

Not the ones you didn't get. The ones you already paid for: the form that came in at 8:40pm, sat overnight, and got a callback the next afternoon. What happened to those?

Twenty minutes. A one-page write-up the next day.

Or work out your own number first.

SECTION 01 / THE PROBLEM

None of this shows up on a report.

It leaks out the sides of a busy roofing company, and the week is too full to notice.

So when a job goes to the other guy, is that a people problem? Or a systems problem?

  1. 01A homeowner with a ceiling stain calls at 7pm, gets voicemail, and dials the next roofer on the Google list.
  2. 02A lead you paid for waits until tomorrow for a callback and books an inspection with somebody else.
  3. 03Someone lands on your site after a storm at 11pm, has one question, and leaves without asking it.
  4. 04The estimate you wrote in April is still sitting unsold, and nobody has followed up since.
  5. 05You can't say which ad paid for a roof last month, so you keep running all of them.
  6. 06Your crew is flat out in September, the posting stops, and the phone is quiet in January.

SECTION 02 / WHAT IT COSTS

What is it costing you?

The defaults are examples. Set them to your own numbers.

$75
30%
8%
$9,500

The fourth is a guess on purpose. A lead you never spoke to is harder to sell than one you did, so keep it below your normal close rate.

$900

Per month. You already paid to make those phones ring.

Per month, in signed work, at the share you set on slider four.

SECTION 03 / WHAT I DO

I build the part of your business that never goes to voicemail.

Think of it as someone who answers every call, calls every new lead back before they've closed the tab, and follows up six times over five days without being reminded. Except it isn't a hire. It's a system wired into how your company already works.

I'm not a marketing agency and I don't sell you more leads. You already have leads. The question is what happens to them in the first minute, and then for the next five days.

You don't learn any software. You don't log into anything unless you want to. I design it around how your company actually runs, install it, and keep it running.

Johanna de Jong

I'm Johanna de Jong, an AI architect based near Bangor, Maine. I design and build every system myself, and I'm the person on the audit call.

SECTION 04 / THE SYSTEMS

What I can build for you

These are the ones businesses ask for most. If you need something else, I build that too.

SYSTEM 01

AI Front Desk

Answers every call 24/7, greets the caller, qualifies them, and books the appointment. Sounds human. Never misses.

Every call to voicemail is a customer calling someone else.

SYSTEM 02

Instant Lead Response

The second a new lead comes in, the system calls and texts them back. Not in an hour. In seconds.

The business that responds first almost always wins.

SYSTEM 03

24/7 Lead Capture

An always-on front door for your site that talks to visitors day or night and captures them before they leave.

You already pay to get them there.

SYSTEM 04

Command Center

One back-end system to see your leads, your follow-ups, your team, and what your marketing is really doing.

You cannot fix what you cannot see.

SYSTEM 05

Content Engine

Keeps your business visible and posting consistently, without an agency and without you thinking about it.

Out of sight, out of mind.

SYSTEM 06

AI Operating System

A platform built for how your business actually runs, replacing the spreadsheets and disconnected apps.

A business that runs on a system, not on you.

SECTION 05 / HOW IT WORKS

Three steps.

01

The audit call

Twenty minutes. I ask how your company handles calls, leads and follow-up, and I tell you where the work is going. A one-page write-up follows the next day.

02

I design and install

If it makes sense after that conversation, I map which of the six systems your company actually needs, build them, and wire them in. You don't touch anything.

03

It runs

It answers, calls back, follows up and records what happened. I keep it tuned as your season changes.

SECTION 06 / DEMOS

Don't take my word for it. Watch one run.

These are recordings of real systems working, not animations of what they might do one day.

DEMO 01 / SYSTEMS 01 + 02

The phone

A homeowner calls and the AI Front Desk answers, asks the qualifying questions and books the inspection. Then a form comes in, and the system calls that lead back.

DEMO 02 / SYSTEMS 03 + 05

The front door

The site, the form and the tagged ad link. Two homeowners fill it in, and each lead lands in the tracker already labeled with the ad it came from.

The back office

A job logged from a phone in the field, then the whole path from ad spend to signed contract on one screen.

The company in these recordings is Halstrom Roofing, a demo company I made up to build against. The name, the jobs and the numbers in it are invented. The systems around it are real and running.

SECTION 07 / PROOF

What's built, and what isn't yet.

Form submitted to phone ringing

The build target: the call fires 20 to 45 seconds after the form is submitted. By the time the confirmation email lands, the call has already happened.

Seconds from form submission. Source: this build's own spec. No external benchmark used.

The intake loop, live

Form to database to notification, with per-ad attribution tagged on the way in, proven with real submissions rather than test clicks. The voice call is the step being built now.

SECTION 08 / WHO THIS ISN'T FOR

Four reasons not to call me.

  1. 01

    You want more leads.

I don't buy media and I don't run your ads. I work on what happens to the leads you already have.

  2. 02

Your phone already gets answered inside a minute, every time, including weekends.

Then the biggest leak is already closed and this would be an expensive second opinion.

  3. 03

    You want the cheapest option.

There's a setup fee, and it's real work.

  4. 04

You want to keep doing it by hand and just want the dashboard.

The tracking is worth having, but on its own it tells you about a problem instead of fixing it.

SECTION 09 / QUESTIONS

The ones roofers actually ask.

Will it sound like a robot on the phone?

It's an AI voice, and it says so: the caller is told at the start of the call that they're speaking with an automated assistant. That disclosure isn't optional and I wouldn't build it without one. Within that, it sounds conversational and it asks the questions you'd ask.

Do I have to learn anything?

No. The systems run behind your existing phone number, your existing website and your existing calendar. If you want the dashboard you get a login, and if you don't, you get an email.

Which of the six do I need?

Usually two. Most roofing companies leak hardest at the phone and at the follow-up, and the rest can wait until those are closed. Twenty minutes on the call is how we find out which two are yours.

What does it cost?

There's a setup fee and a monthly fee, and both depend on which systems you need. I quote after the audit, not before it. A number quoted before I've looked at your business is a guess wearing a price tag.

Does it work for storm and insurance work, or just retail?

Both, but not the same way. Storm work needs the response speed most, because everyone in the neighborhood is calling everyone at once. Retail needs the follow-up sequence most, because the homeowner is thinking about it for weeks. Which one you are changes what gets built.

SECTION 10 / THE AUDIT

Could you say, right now, which part of your business is losing the most work?

Twenty minutes on a call. I ask, you answer, and by the end you know where it's going. You get it in writing the next day.

20 minutes · no cost
